Juniperus conferta ‘All Gold’
August 10, 2009
. This cultivar of Japanese Shore Juniper has outstanding color and growth pattern. As its name suggests, this juniper is ‘all gold’ when grown in full sun. It doesn’t seem to burn like some bright yellow cutivars. For some who dislike yellow colored plants with the complaint that the plant looks ‘sick’, the pure yellow color mixed with branches that are limey yellow when shaded by overhanging branches, looks healthy and certainly attractive. The foliage is not sharp like some junipers.
